@SicSociophobiac 1.Google Chrome isn't faster than Internet Explorer. It is just more cleaner than IE, or more orginisable. IE is a trident browser so they sometimes lake features.
2. Internet Explorer also has some Ad-Blocking software. IE AD-Block or IE7-PRO are some free version AdBlocking software.
3. You cannot delete Internet Explorer, it's part of the computers network. If you Unninstall it, you still have IE. It's just in the version before it. You can't unninstall THAT version.

3. Delete Internet Explorer

I don't think you got the Photoshop shortcut right. o-o To fix that, place it back into the folder and right click on the application. Go over "Sent to... > Desktop" and click that option. Photoshop should then be an actual shortcut and less registry problems will be createed.
