@vidnut67 but like you said he was exhauseted in 1971 and 1972 and 1974 and quite often because of all the times he spent on the road performing and health problems. the less he performed though his voice always benifited as did his performances. its a shame parker didnt see this instea dof running him into the ground

@vidnut67 i agree with you 100% but somewhat disagree at the same time. when he was given the chance to resta nd have time off in the 70's which was very rare he still sounded as good if not better like his today sessions from march 1975 he hadnt performed since october 1974 and he came back sounding crisp. then it happened again in feb. 1976 and october 76 when he was able to rest his voice, and a few times in 1973 during his raised on rock and promised land recordings

@1963Austria Actually this was recorded in June 1970. Just my opinion, but vocally he was never better than during this year. By '71, there was a disturbing wobble in his vocal production, clearly the result of overwork and onsetting ill health due to increasing drug usage. Listen to track by track of the June 1970; he never, to my ears, sounded this smooth again.
