@Beanoz4 In fact, the random icons are the invincibility powerups (Like the shield in the PS2, only that it adds extra powers (Homer being able to walk on dangerous terrain and becomes able to destroy things he usually needs to Homerball Dash into, Bart shoots lasers through glass and defeat enemies in one hit with them, Lisa can destroy things and enemies in one hit, and damage things only Marge's Mob can break, and Marge's mob can throw rocks)

The Ps2 version has many diffrences

You cant walk into random icons and change your outfit and

you cant walk around town between levels
