The market was a very interesting and cultural experience, I remember riding this train and visiting...the train ride was gimmicky with the "musicians" who were not very indicative of what people are really like today in peru. But, you do what you gotta do for money and that's what I expected in touristy areas. Outside of Cuzco's tourist portion most of the country is reflective of it's heritage and is amazing...just don't drink the water!

market is not ..... Fair is a poorer than the day out on Sunday ...... working days there is only one small section where they sell nothing but tools .... q only poor people take advantage of these sectors to trade ... ..
no es mercado..... es una feria de la mas pobre que sale los dia domingos......en dias laborales solo hay un pequeño sector donde se venden herramientas nada mas....solo q la gente pobre aprovecha esos sectores para hacer comercio.....
