@seanrcollins You can find free sheet music at imslp dot org. It is very useful and all the music is public domain stuff.

I cannot express how much this blew me away, regardless of the fact that I dont hear Hungarian Rhapsody in here.

Ridiculous. Liszt is smiling somewhere. Is there anywhere I can download the sheet music?

Unbelievable, mind-shattering playing! My ears need cigarettes ...

no, i think Volodos doesn't lose control at all... at 5.50 i didn't notice anything like that...
P.s. Volodos is just the God of the piano, really.
I agree that Cziffra sometimes lost control, but Volodos doesn't.
All the nature of the instrument in his hands.

@Laudan08 I think you mean generates the feeling of abandon...I don't think it's built into his DNA to "lose control". ;-)

The coda sounds a lot like the coda of the 3rd movement of the 8th Sonata by Profkofiev.
At some parts he is playing 17-20 notes per second...

It sounds a bit like Cziffra, but he loses control in a very insane way. Cziffra lost control by dynamics, he loses it by speed. 5:50
