In 2009, PJ embarked on a journey that would challenge him, both emotionally and physically, beyond anything he ever expected. PJ put on 50% of his body weight and went from 176 lbs up to 264 lbs in just 4 months. He then maintained the weight for a further 2 months and it was during this period of time that he quickly realized the seriousness of obesity and how he had underestimated it's effect on the mind. PJ's documentary follows his journey from fit to FAT AND BACK again. A year filled with emotional highs and lows...a year PJ will never forget. The most rewarding year of his life to date. FAT AND BACK is coming soon and PJ is excited to share his documentary with the world. Obesity is reaching epidemic proportions and PJ's aim is to bring it to the forefront of discussion. PJ is now well recognised as an innovative authority on all things health and fitness and his mission to tackle obesity head on, has just begun!

  • I understand your experience 100%. When I was 21 I weighed 180lbs and within less than 10 years I doubled my weight to 360lbs. Aside from health problem, I experienced social stigmal unlike anything ever imaginable. When I was 21 I used to have very attractive women take interest in me. At 31 I'd have average to even ugly women walk away from me if I tried to talk to them. How did you get treated by people you never meet before when you gained that weight? 42, down to 280lbs and not stopping :).

  • @wanttorockout Thank you for sharing your story. Really appreciate it and welcome to the site. It's amazing how people treat you very differently when you are overweight in comparison to when you are fit! I often felt invisible and this ruined my confidence and self esteem. It made me realize how important it is to acknowledge everyone around me. Sometimes, a passing smile from a stranger can change someone's whole outlook on life :-) Keep up the awesome transformation!

  • Hey PJ, so what happened to Michelle? Was she able to meet her goals as well?

  • @kgbtechno All will be revealed soon :-)

  • @PJFATANDBACK I appreciate you replying and I did subscribe to your page. Fitness isn't a temporary thing, it's a long term decision that we have to make for ourselves. It shows that you care about yourself, improves your way of life, brings health benefits and people in general treat you alot better. I know fitness isn't about meeting a significant other, but I'll say it creates a world of opportunity. Confidence and pride grow with improvement. I hope to help others like you do.
