@OmgItsNikoZ, just caught this by chance while going over my old e-mail address to which these messages are sent. I'm in NJ (New Jersey) and from my understanding after talking to several actuarial students in Canada online over there the standard entry-level student comes from an actuarial program and has like 3-4 exams right out of college so I take that to mean that the competition there is tougher.

Yeah! I'm twelve exams through the thirteen in the UK. Pensions, here we come!

Check out the salary survey at the DW Simpson site (google it). My friend who started an entry level actuarial position in June makes a little over 50K. As for me, I've passed P and FM already (studying for MFE in Nov) and am having a difficult time finding a job. It really is tough out there.

What is the pay-range for the people who are at the entry level positions as assistants/associates? By the way, how did your tests go? How difficult were they?
I am in my first year of ACSC right now so I would like more info, thanks!
