Police: Nothing more than street gangs.

SEASIDE HEIGHTS POLICE OFFICERS ARE BASICALLY JUST TERRORISTS. THEY ARE NOT THERE TO HELP. THEY "POLICE" A FUCKING CIRCUS TOWN, THE NYPD IN BROOKLYN LAUGHS AT THEM. PATHETIC COPS.

This man was hurting nobody. He was standing on a publically-owned boardwalk, talking. His Freedom of Speech right was violated BIG TIME! My suggestion is to sue the Seaside Heights Police Department for violating his Civil Rights. The Seaside Heights Police Dept has already settled millions upon millions of dollars in settlements for violation people's Civil Rights. Go fo it man!

Well, he could go down to town hall and apply for a Street Performers Permit. That would be the legal way to approach it. Of course I personally know musicians who haven't been granted the permit, Seaside is trying to shake the non-family friendly stigma from the 80's, when the boards were dominated by punk rockers and gang members. By the way, just to clear up a point of confusion, the boardwalk isn't "public" property. In 1987 I was removed from the boards for doing magic, now I have a permit.

He's actually working on getting a permit now. Do you perform on the Seaside Boardwalk?

Yes, I do a magic show right at the spot where he is on this video. Actually, performers have to move back to the bench line, where he is currently standing is considered "blocking passage". There is no big formula for getting a permit, $15 and an application to Borough Hall, but remember, they are not approving acts considered to be non-family oriented, regardless of Freedom of Speech.
