it's still so weird that i watched this as a kid and was totally oblivious to the lust and sensuality. my mom apparently never paid attention to what was going on in disney movies that i watched... lol

It's amazing....when you first watch this as a kid you think, "Oh no he wants to kill Esmerelda!!"

Years later you're staring wide-eyed and slack jawed at the screen goin, "Whoah...he wants sex her up! OH damn Disney!" XDD

I especially loved the part when Frollo is singing "God have mercy on me" because of the transition from him smelling her hair with his eyes closed to him and the fireplace with his eyes popping open. That memory really gets him! XD

I think this is the most dramatic and profound movie made by disney. The relationship frollo wants to have with Esmerelda is so surreal. I cant believe the film is only rated PG. lollllzz I think Frollo and Esmerelda shoud have had something going. Wouldnt that have been an interesting ending instead of him dying? XD

i seriously luv this movie. but i never realized frollo...ummm... "had the hots" (no pun intended. lol.) for esmeralda back when i was like 6 when i watched this...i just thought he was a "bad man." though his character disgusts me...=.= ugh.

I also thought that was an "innocent" love, until I saw the movie again when I grew up and discovered the "hidden messages". XD

I think this shouldn't be a child's movie...
