Not necessarily. The story in Warhead is taking place at the same time as the story in the original Crysis, so you won't be missing any of the critical events, only a few small inside tidbits.
To me, it's the gameplay that makes both games great, and Warhead's gameplay is as good as the original's in every way.

Hm.. warhead is better than the original so..
why is warhead low price (cheaper i think) than the original?

Warhead is technically an expansion to the original Crysis. It isn't "Crysis 2". Warhead has as much action as the original, it's just packed into a shorter game, which I think makes it a more fun action experience anyway.

can u hav dx 9 on vista to make it run better because i cant go bak to xp because my dad spent alot of money on vista :( ??

Yeah, you can run it in DX9 mode on Vista. Just right-click on your shortcut, click properties, go to the shortcut tab, and in the target box add " -dx9" (without quotes) after everything that is already there.

You should be able to play fine with medium to high (mainstream to gamer), with a 22" monitor and below. I'm only guessing though.
Most of the work will fall on the graphics card, especially at higher resolutions. Lowering your resolution will cause the CPU and GPU share the work. If your performace increases as you lower the resolution, you'll know your graphics card is the bottleneck.
