Anyone can use "smart" words to sound intelligent...doesn't mean that person actually is. Content is more important and as long as you convey it in a way that people understand what you re saying, people won't doubt your intelligence...so I don't see why slang should be totally dismissed because clearly patrice says a lot of ingenious points and most of it is delivered with slang.

i understand taking liberties with the language, i do that all the time, but to enhance it, not reduce it to a grammatical nightmare....... and if you truly believe (i know you don't) what you said and you think that sounds just as welll, i bet anything you wouldn't talk like that at a corporate job interview or when meeting your woman's parents for the first time, ..
