I think it messed my head a bit, because I remember having a emotional block just going to the bathroom in other social situations. Sometimes suppressing my physical needs for sake of... I don't really know what.
It's like they're training you to be a good mindless, robot without needs of its own. Or at least to hide your needs well.

I'm so glad I'm out of school for quite some time. Many things that are done in schools seem so weird when looking back. Especially since I never jumped into a employment, or had a boss, and went for self-employment, and increased my independence over time.
Being pressured to ask for going to the bathroom thing is quite an interesting example. Being made to think that it is disrespectful, and an interruption to others, when I just get up, and walk off to take a .....
