The Climate Quilt Campaign is an effort to tangibly connect children worldwide around the issue of Climate Change and what they can do about it. The Campaign will empower youth, raise awareness, build global community, and be the voice of the children in Copenhagen for the United Nations December climate conference.
Designed and created by children in countries and cities including New York, Paris, Mumbai, Melbourne, Beijing and Moscow, the quilt will return to NYC at the end of the school year where it will be unveiled at the United Nations on World Environment Day, June 5, 2010. Throughout the year, the quilt will travel and be celebrated at environmental events around the globe.
