So, can you tell me what kind of drivers you can get to allow a wiimote to be recognized as a generic game controller by the Windows control panel?

1.Blue Soleil or some Bluetooth device detector to sense and connect your Wiimote to the PC.
2.Glove Pie to use your Wiimote, find the script to use your Wiimote and initialize it as a Joystick.
3.PPJoy (Haha.) to get your Wiimote recognized as a generic game controller. You will need to go through a few steps to do that.

wiiremote+Glovepie(software)+b luetooth --> its easy to do .new dimension on gaming. you can control everything with wiiremote
