Cookie's best friend Cory (here with Bridget) talks about his best friend Bill "Cookie" Cook and the Second Annual Memorial Bike Run held in Cookie's honor.
In the 1990's, Bill "Cookie" Cook was the owner of Cookie's Bar (now Mobley's) in Stratton, Ohio. He was known as a hard working, generous man and a friend to many people.
On January 15, 2008, "Cookie" was biking to the Florida Keys to visit his sister Shirley. He was killed in an accident only 35 miles from his sister's home.
This year's Bill "Cookie" Cook Memorial Bike Run started at Mobley's in Stratton with other stops at Luane's Place, State Line and concluded at Tucker's Tavern In Toronto, Ohio. Proceeds from the event benefit Cookie's nieces and their children.
