Adjusting the Zoom Controls
The Zoom Controls are at the top left corner of the top tool bar. The left arrow will zoom out, and the right arrow will zoom in.
Clicking on the left arrow will cause your view to zoom out from the canvas. The tracks will appear smaller and more condensed the more you zoom out.
The right arrow will let you zoom in on your tracks, far enough for you to see the nuances of the digital waveforms.
Zooming in can help you line up your audio waves so they are perfectly synced together.
Also, pressing R on your keyboard will zoom out.
If you click on the arrows of the audio wave button in the zoom control tool bar, you can make the audio waves larger or smaller as you zoom in, depending on which arrow you click.
This only affects the visual representation of the audio wave on your screen. It does not affect the actual audio output of the track.

Quick question - are the Zoom Controls set per session? Meaning that if I save a Zoom preset for one session, is that the same Zoom preset for a completely different session? Thanks!

hey this is MsElyag you really do a great job and have helped me a lot, I am a grad student MSMT and I look at your videos to help prepare for class. You may have covered this already but I am wanting to set up I/O for my saffire pro 40 interface to pro tools on my mac. I understand about audio in pro tools but not clear on how to organize it from my interface. If you get a chance look at my channel MsElyag. That is where my class assignments are posted
thanks
