Your memory of the Bible will improve as you practice. And when you learn simple techniques of Bible memory association, perhaps that you got from some Bible memory system, you will eventually have books of the Bible memorized.

This is a kind of Bible memory game! Your heavenly Father enjoys it with you as you abide in his Word. Jesus said, "if you remain in me and My words remain in you, you will ask what you desire and it shall be done for you."

Sunday school lessons and their curriculum ordinarily don't include such activities, but Bible memorization should be one of the highest priorities among our youth.

Do you know all of the ways to memorize scripture? Many homeschooled children memorize scripture. But the question is, sometimes, what scripture to memorize. I think that you just have to find something that speaks to your heart, because the Holy Spirit will let you know that way. Let the Lord be magnified and glorified as he helps you as he has helped me to memorize Bible scripture. We memorize scripture to glorify Him, because he saved us with His own blood, and His love for us will never end.

Of course you may want to use some mnemonic devices. Memorization techniques can help you go a long way in this fulfilling activity. Every time you get a new Bible memory verse, you can practice your mnemonic memory.

Naturally, I have my own mnemonics system and would be happy to share it with you. Why don't you comment? I hope that you will provide me a good rating also, that I may be encouraged and try to bring to the Lord the glory that He is due.

You know that memory improvement is not a simple task. However, if you want to memorize from the Bible, I believe that this is the surest way to a clear and lucid memory and resulting thought processes. You can't go wrong memorizing scripture, because it is the word of the living God.

Everybody has their own memory strategy. The memory methods that I use may not be the same as yours. You are a child of the living God, and He is more than happy to show you ways of remembering His precious word. You are precious to Him, and you should have His precious word within you!

  • I don't get i was Jesus Chinese ?

  • scary

  • That is awesome.

  • It was strange when you'd stop talking, it was almost as though you had an imaginary bible in your mind and was simply turning the page. Very amazing.

May your God be with you.

  • That's wonderful. I love to memorize Scripture too :-) Although I have used "mental tools" to memorize things for work, I don't really use any "mnemonic device" for Scripture memory. I just meditate on it and repeat it until it becomes a part of me. As I read through the Bible, I find Scripture that is particularly meaningful to me and note it for more focused attention in order to memorize it. I would be interested to know your method. God Bless you and yours.
