@ThePresticle1 Last time I checked, i did a few more days in AFRICOM than 90, I hurt a few more parts of my body than just my nail, and saved a few asses just like yours. This video was done with pure intentions. If you have an issue with that, here's a tissue for that. @hillsideAS Thanks for the video. Please make more.

Mr. Winters is appealing to the non-cobat veterans, females and Air Force,in this video. I have served in Iraq as an Infantry machine-gunner and I have seen how the Air Force simply refuses to go outside the gates on ANY kind of mission."Oh no-I'll break a nail!"And yet their MAXIMUM deployment is 90 days. THREE MONTHS!!! Cry me a river! Oh, and the Air Force doesn't care about Army Soldiers- Just bomb them along with 30 other insurgents in Fallujah. Thanks.

Great Poem, content aside, the poem comes across as a great Soliloquy, I could see the old Veteran sitting there, and thinking of the war.

One more once and again and again, Winters nails it down...sardonic straight talk from the guy that has been there and did that...bravo

As always, Mr Winters provides a powerful, moving, and creative take on the realities often overlooked by the general public and always overlooked by the Media. This is a fearless poem that forces us as the listener to stare truth in the face.

Anger, sadness and protest against injustice rolled in a woman tears both as partner and mother . Larry goes deeper into American loss----

Having never been a soldier, it's hard to imagine what they go through. But this helps. It poignantly conveys the sense of duty--to family, country, and brother-in-arms, while also getting across the confusion that goes along with being dutiful.
