This is the other famous dance from Swan Lake.
Level 3 or 4. A Minor. Time marks, from at tempo to slow:
(0:05), (0:44), (1:57), (3:29), (5:34)

Among the most famous of all ballets, Swan Lake was composed by Pyotr Tchaikovsky in 1875 and 1876. Adapted from Russian folk tales, it tells the story of a princess turned into a swan by an evil sorcerer's curse.

  • I would have wanted it in 5bpm, this is way too fast for me ;)

  • @SperoAeternam that means you practice easier pieces and come back to this later :)

  • I know it's supposed to be played like this but at times you're pressing the keys so fast that I can't tell what you played. No matter what the tempo is :P

But a helpful tutorial nonetheless! Thanks so much for giving up so much of your time to make these.

  • @tufftandle oh, now i realize you meant the staccatos. for the sheetmusic see my webpage (video description). try to follow it even if you do not read music yet. Then try my three intro lessons on reading music. Deal?

  • @tufftandle @itzSkrapee but that is a major reason why I started this project, to motivate music literacy. I made 3 intuitive lessons called "taking the mystery out of reading music", no harm giving it a try, right? have fun and good luck :)

  • @tufftandle Welcome to the world of Pizzicato.

  • This is a great tutorial! It really helps to watch it, whether you read music or not, because it has helped me get a better handle on the timing...which I always struggled with playing this particular piece. Well done!

  • @bbdhrggl though this tutorial is useful to see the proper way to play it at all speeds, for the sake of learning, and novice players, you might want to press on the keys more clearly without staccato, just a suggestion since not everyone reads sheet music
