The United States needs a whole lot more boys who are willing to learn & willing to sing in public. I sang soprano as a member of the St. Mary Men & Boys Choir, Massillon, Ohio 1973-77 (ages 10-14) & I will tell you I sang falsetto for 4 months after my voice changed, I was not going to drop out before the end of the school year. After my voice changed, I was determined to sing the Battle Hymn of the Republic 1 more time, & it ended on the 2nd C above middle. I was speechless afterwards

Hi there, George's voices is still going strong, if not better as a Soprano. We want to do another recording, but it depends on whether his mother can bring him over here this summer. Fingers crossed! There seems to be some different opinions on whether a boy soprano should rest his voice after his voice breaks. You are eighteen and now a baritone, what did you do? ACP
