  • ...all tuned in fourths (and a third). It's not some weird tuning. (This is in response to Matthew1028 below. Sorry for not being good at the internet. :])

  • He said he likes to use that tuning. But it's definetely not that. His G wouldn't look like a G otherwise. It's most likely a half step down. I don't have perfect pitch, but it's definately

  • hehe yeah he just tune on its own its not standard, God bless chris for what he has done he bless many people..

    Inspire more...

  • I THINK HE PLAYEDIN C#

  • hey guys, he said that he'd prefer to do the DADGAD tuning, but he can't tune on the fly and doesn't like having multiple guitars. It's regular tuning. If it wasn't, then his G chord in the verse would have had to stretch or move positions. his main point is that he doesn't like to move alot. So he's keeping his fingers in the D position, and just moving one finger or so as discrete bass lines.

  • i dont get this...did he tune his guitar down or something?!?!?

  • whoops...spoke too soon. E strings are dropped to D. He says it just before 5:00

  • everything is a half step down I think

  • i don't get this!? did he tune his guitar weirdly or something?

  • another thing, he played the bridge totally different than the album and passion.....
