Occasionally, I'll come across a movie that's only so-so and I think to myself, "You know what would really make this movie? Zombies. This movies needs more zombies."
Well, while The Sandlot isn't the type of movie that "needs more zombies", it did set itself up for it.
I decided long ago it was going to be of the silent movie genre, to deal with the conflicting audio. I went with Sepia instead of Black and White... I think that was a good choice in the end. (Also, I wish the quality was better.)
And no, I won't defend myself by claiming I was "bored" or just "threw this together out of boredom". These things take time to edit, and anyone claiming otherwise is just making excuses.
I understand it's suppose to be a silent film, but at least you could have put the sound effect of the old reel spinning, or the sound of the film scratching, or some ragtime music in the background...

Nah, it's more authentic this way. Just like in the old days, you'll need a piano and some sound props to get the full effect. Feel free to interpret the style of music and visual to audio cues any way you like.
