Just a flat out wonderful joyous two minutes of Camden NJ soul. Home of Campbell Soup and Patti and the Emblems -- both mmm mmm good. Thank you Patti for this cherished contribution to the happiness that was the summer of 1964.

I was 15 when this came out. I didn't know what Northern Soul was then. All I knew is that I couldn't dance to The Beatles or Beach Boys. Ya know what? I think I am going to have a sock hop in our living room this year. Maybe on my birthday!

Sigh........

This is such a great old tune. I remember seeing her at a dance in 1965 at a Knights of Columbus Hall here in Connecticut (remember 'record hops' anyone?) What a delightful post. Thanks.
