OFA "Listening Tour" in Rockland County 9/1/2009

I apologize that my angle wasnt too good for this. And, as the back and forth became contentious, it gets a little hard to understand. But what IS audible is scary. Just because one woman laments that she cant reach any of her Representatives, a man stands up. After proudly proclaiming himself a Socialist, he asks if those of us who are anti Obamacare were paid by insurance companies to be there. Another woman who supports the Presidents plan asks one who is opposed, So WHAT are you doing here? Candidate for Clarkstown Town Board Diane Holland speaks out against proposed activities OFA plans to undertake on 9/11 which have nothing to do with remembrance contacting our federal representatives and DEMANDING that they root out all of us radical right wing nut jobs because we are descended from bin Laden himself. And, during the melee, the proud Socialist is challenged by a gentleman who legally immigrated to this country from Hungary in order to escape Socialism.

He never said he was a Socialist. He said he was for the President's agenda - news flash - that doesn't mean a person is a socialist.

Have you ever noticed conservatives are like the borg - Masses of people pre-programed to yell out propaganda that they don't understand and doesn't go together. Words like Socialist, Nazi, and muslim. Three different things that can't eve go together, they don't even know the meaning.

In-informed. All they know is that the "great one" has spoken. The accept it as gods word. It is a shame. I almost feel sorry for them but then I remember what they stand for and my sorrow flies out the window.
