I can sort of understand why he won't give this up - it's Ian's last bid for power that only he knows where Keith is buried. What I don't understand is why they can't just take the pictures he has and use those. They're not the same as the ones Hindley have and might hold the key to finding him. In this scenario, screw human rights - he lost those a long time ago when he decided to do this. They should forcibly take them from him and use them if he refuses to talk.

@ellenkingsley theyve tried that, they never buried kids close to each other, some people reckon they were trying to draw out a swastika with dead bodies

you would have thought Hindley might have admitted where Keith's body is before she died

The Manchester police should be offering Ian Brady the chance to die as he wants to, in a prison instead of the hospital. In exchange, Brady must pinpoint the burial spot of Keith Bennett. No Keith, No prison for Brady!

In the not so distant future, (too late for Brady), it will be possible to extract memory from a living person. Thats going to change a few things.

@MrUknutters Well for sure they killed 5 young people (all were under 18). Sounds like 3 of the 5 were kids (10-12 yrs old) and two teenagers (girl Pauline 16 and guy Edward 17)
No man that I've heard of. They preyed on basically little kids, weaker people they could easily get control of, not full grown men.

Keith Bennet is simply the last pawn in Brady's sick game, he wont do the 'Decent Thing' because he is simply evil. Its sounds like manchester police wont bargain with brady over his life in prison in exchange for the whereabouts of keiths body which is sad, because a mother still wonders where her son is. Way too many 'principles' have been played between brady and the police over the years, its time they lay this to rest, give keith back to his mum in exchange for brady's death in prison!
