Just a quick song because it came to mind. Back when i was a DJ for Radio Free Hawaii, i played a lot of ska music. I still love the genera and this is one of my favorite songs from that time.
Again, i do this for fun, do not expect anything because i sing terribly and i simplified the chords to make it easy. if anything, listen to the lyrics. it is a well written piece. the song is "Don't Count" by Isaac Green & The Skalars from their album "Skoolin' With The Skalars." omg! did i mention that i can make your ears bleed? i dare you to finish the video! hehe
Searching for so long but knowing what to find
Feelings of loneliness make you feel resigned
But it's all self-absorption and you won't find answers
If you look to yourself and not to others
It's hard to accept the blame for missing what you want
The retribution can hurt but it's better when it's done
It's then you understand that before happiness comes frustration
But if you can get it, it's a wonderful situation.
Don't count on getting what you want, But appreciate it when it comes
Don't count on getting what you want, But appreciate it when it comes
Experience is what you get when you don't get what you want
That's what my mother told me and if that is true
I've had more experience that anyone should have
But experience is figuring it out.
Thank you for tuning in!
Nice one! Say, how did you like being a DJ? Sometimes I think being a DJ would have been a good occupation for me, although I don't have a broadcaster's voice.

@keonepax i fell into being a DJ by accident but i loved the experience! you meet a lot of celebrities and get into back stage and i also had a little fan base. it was fun! i was a DJ fr Radio Free Hawaii and KTUH. i didn't need a broadcasters voice and there were less restrictions or rules for me because i was part time and did specialty shows. i think you would have made a great DJ. yu have a passion for music and have a lot of knowledge and enthusiasm!
