  • This looks more like an advertisement lol. I am using some used buckets. I hang them from tree branches so my stringbeans can just grow over the bucket...looks cool.

You don't need to go out a buy them as you can get a 5 gallon bucket for less than 3 bucks.

  • You and Dawn make a fair point, because anything that can hold growing media and plant material can be used as long as it has drainage holes. This is more of a landscaping design point for people interested in having accent features around their homes.

  • With the rising costs of produce, I can't wait to grow vegetables in containers on my patio. I feel that container gardening will definitely gain popularity!

  • The mistake I made when I got started was using clay pots for vegetables. Use plastic to hold the moisture, and protect from too much sun. However, some crops are more economic to buy, I spent alot of water and time on tomatoes then only got a few, which was dumb since you can buy them cheap at the market. If you can reuse rainwater or grey water from your laundry if you use a biodegradable detergent, that would be ideal.

  • good video. People rating this video low need to think that most people DO care how something looks. Some people want to have a nice container so their yard or deck doesnt look like some third world country with plastic buckets.

  • You can use any container, bucket, crate, whatever. If it were me, I'd look for cheap. Could care less about colors.

  • So teaganblackburn, just watch another video then, or make your own and post it. Ok so she's feminine and into pots and colors, sort of what the video is about, didn't any part of the video give you that clue? Lots of other videos you can watch, she did alright.

  • i dont know what size pots you need but if you wanna go cheap ,tires are free if you have the room for them stack 2 or 3 high fill with soil grow some tomatoes or other veggies, put a garbage bag under it to keep grass and tree roots from growing in them ,the can be painted

  • awful video. I don't give a shit about how it looks - I just want to grow food cheaply and well
