Boeing 787 First Flight Over Sequim WA 12-15-2009

This is the Boeing 787 Dreamliner on it's very first flight. It took off around 10:30 and went immediately out to the Strait of Juan de Fuca. This was less than 10 minutes later when it came over Sequim, WA. You can see the chase plane next to it and the landing gear is still down. It was pretty high, very quiet and the camera had trouble focussing on it because of the gray clouds.

Anybody know where the second chase ship went? I heard there was a third (a T-38) scouting weather ahead so I doubt it peeled off for that purpose...
