Kids from Children and Family Urban Ministries in Des Moines, Iowa, were invited to write questions that they would ask any presidential candidate whom they might encounter in Iowa. That's a highly unlikely occurrence for children from the predominantly poor families of the Des Moines' near north side, but a candidate might benefit more from listening to one of these children than from many other encounters. The children are speaking. Here are just a few of the questions they are asking.
To those of you who have misunderstood:
The reason this video features African American and Hispanic children is because it is representative of the organization it was filmed at. If there were white children to interview, they would have been interviewed.
I find it perplexing to see adults tearing down children for presenting good questions. The fact that some of you cannot see past each child's skin color aids the message presented.
The children are right, racism is an issue.

Why not just let them talk? Why swear at and accuse children of racism because of your insecurities?
