Jim and Kyra knew each other long before they met on March 31st. They were dear friends on Facebook. They will marry on June 11th in Central Park. http://www.weddingwire.com/jimandkyra
Author/Marathon Runner Jim Palmer and Professor/Author/Musician Kyra Gaunt met on Facebook in early to mid 2010. They fell in love and finally met on March 31, 2011. He lives in Nashville. She in Brooklyn. An entourage of her students at Baruch College-CUNY escorted her in a rental zipcar to meet him. Scott, a musician-friend of Kyra's from Washington Square Park sang their favorite song "You Make It Real" by James Morrison and then Kyra sang "Betcha By Golly Wow" all to surprise Jim.
Kyra hates chocolate (no pun intended) and loves popcorn. Jim surprised her with gourmet white chocolate covered popcorn.
