Slap bass riff lesson

hey man! thanks for your videos! i have a problem with the sound of slap on e string..

i hear more the fret than the string when i slap.. By the way,i dont have problem with my other strings... can you give me an advise?

@conos1985 your E string might be set too low. try raising it a little

I love the tone! Did you have both pickups at full? What about the tone knob?

Is that a MIM or MIA?

thanks! I roll back the bridge pickup just a little. Everything else is at full. Its an american standard series jazz.

ey dude just start off with and easyyer lesson and keep yourself a goal, dont excpect a world champion out of yourself in the beginning. just start off learn something easy to slap then play it a million times show it to all your friends and when you can do it perfect a thousand times in a row, learn a new lesson :P...

you have to give youself the time it takes you to learn it, you cant rush your learning process.
