Our LauderdaleChristmas.com 42,000 LED holiday lights display with 112 channels from 7 computerized lighting controllers. I act as orchestrater, tell the lights when to turn on or off, fade, twinkle, etc. An MP3 player inside the controller plays the music and controls the lights according to your programmed orchestration. We transmit it to people's cars radio via low power transmitter on unused 100.9 FM

  • do you buy everything in store? how do you even know what to buy? for someone who has a new house with absolutely no lights...

  • @knightrdrx I have bought my LEDs at Target, Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Lowes, Costco, Sam's and a few online places. Whoever has what I am looking for at the moment is where I go to buy them. I also try to use coupons and 50% off sales to my advantage.

  • You're probably asked this loads of times, but how long does it take to put all 60,000 thousand lights up!

  • @MsScoobywrx I hire about a half dozen teens from our church school and a couple of unemployed or financially struggling men to do this job. We start the Monday before Thanksgiving, and have it 80% done by Thanksgiving weekend. Then I just find all my extra strings and nets and add about 1000 lights per day until Christmas. It oficial launch date is 12/1, but we often have the lights partially on a few days earlier. We turn on whatever is plugged in.

  • First question that comes to mind and im sure youre asked all the time but what is your electric bill like?

  • @TheOpethDeliverance First of all, this video is 4 years old, we are up to 60,000 LEDs now. My December electric bill barely goes up $90. for one, LEDs draw only 10-20% of th energy that a regular string of lights wastes. Also, since the lights are dancing to music, they are only on part of the time, and the whole display shuts off at 10:30 PM. This saves on energy, while my neighbors lights stay on all night long, shining for nobody.

  • @SBWNik If you'd hop down off your hypocritical high horse that you've elevated yourself on, the world can see how self righteous you are, look at my dozens of videos, other songs that I did my lights to, hymns from our church, and Christmas Carols. Frankly your bogus complaints about corporate that, are old and tiring, and no one really cares. This is a cute little holiday tradition that everyone remembers growing up, with the red lighted trucks driving down the highway. The kids love it.

  • @CoriganBC why don't you donate everything you don't need in your house to those who needs it? Why don't you donate your computer to a student instead of using it to go on youtube to bash on other people? Why don't you go donate your organs so other people can use it wisely?
