The final budget agreement reached by Governor Mark Dayton and GOP leaders provides about $1 billion dollars to each of Minnesota's higher education institutions--the University of Minnesota and the Minnesota State Colleges and University System (MnSCU). The funding reflects about a 10 percent reduction from the previous biennium.
