A beautiful Irish Gaelic Song
with a very short but strong text.
Translation:
Look, women working by day and late at night,
They sing of bright days that were,
A long way back and forth forever.

Nederlandse vertaling:
Kijk, vrouwen die tegen dag en laat bij nacht werken,
Zij zingen van heldere dagen die waren,
Een lange manier afwisselend voor altijd

  • A womans work... A mans love... A childs suffering... A world of Life... A place of wonders

  • I love this video! Thanks for the translation!

I already loved the strength of this song,

now I can truly enjoy the strength of the lyrics, as well!

  • Are you sure she isn't saying some English in there (I couldn't find the complete lyrics online).

It sure sounds at the bridge part that she is singing "come and shed your light on Galilee" no?

Gaelic sure sounds like one beautiful language - it sounds almost like an American Indian language.

  • she somtimes changes the sound of some of the words but i suppose if she pronounced them right it would ruin the song , "slan abhaile"

  • Very powerful song!!! love it..thank you :-)

  • (Ebudae)An island group of western and northwest Scotland in the Atlantic Ocean, divided into the Inner Hebrides, closer to the Scottish mainland, and the Outer Hebrides, to the northwest. The original Celtic inhabitants were conquered by Scandinavians, particularly Norwegians, who ruled the islands until 1266. Native Scottish chieftains controlled the Hebrides until the 16th century, when the islands passed to the kingdom of Scotland.

  • @Netmanxps Leave it to a lesbian to distort a word to fit her sick mind.

  • "who's the other half of the world..?? Answer: More Women;-)))" Uh, so men fit nowhere into your equation? Either your math is skewed, you hate men or both.

How prejudicial of you. This vid is for lesbians only? The song sure isn't. Sad, very sad.

  • Gaelic...catchy name. However I actually like the music and song...I Adore Enya!!
