When I used M$ Windows I liked GlovePIE for event scripting. It's designed to listen to a medley of sources, including keystrokes, voice commands, even the WiiMote. It turns these things in to keystrokes, so with it running you can say 'bad computer', type 'mycomputeristryingtokillme', or press a button on the Wiimote to initiate Ctrl+Alt+Delete.
