The MQ-9 Reaper (originally the RQ-9 Predator B) is an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) developed by General Atomics Aeronautical Systems for use by the United States Air Force, the United States Navy, and the British Royal Air Force. The MQ-9 is the first hunter-killer UAV designed for long-endurance, high-altitude surveillance.[1]

The MQ-9 is a larger and more capable aircraft than the earlier MQ-1 Predator. It can use MQ-1's ground systems. The MQ-9 has a 950-shaft-horsepower turboprop engine, far more powerful than the Predator's 119 hp (89 kW) piston engine. The increase in power allows the Reaper to carry 15 times more ordnance and cruise at three times the speed of the MQ-1.

Retired U.S. Air Force Chief of Staff General T. Michael Moseley said, "We've moved from using UAVs primarily in intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance roles before Operation Iraqi Freedom, to a true hunter-killer role with the Reaper.

  • We kill for what? because we are told they are the enemy.. People need to wake up. The enemy is within. Controling our military. We are babylon. we are the base for the Elite For the new world Order.. and people better wake up

  • enlisted pilots fly them so so so so so much better than their pogue officer dipshits.

  • @AccordGTR were building killer drones to kill not win. your "stuck on stupid" "general Honore."

  • @datzfast Words are meaningless, especially coming from politicos. You have to look at history to know the truth as you will see a trend dating back to the turn of the century. Read what Gen.Smedley Butler said that "war is a racket". The ones who suffer are the soldiers and civilians but the corporations make huge profits from war. Drones make huge profits for the companies with less political backlash from dead American soldiers. But drones cannot win the war.

  • @AccordGTR i have not herd an american politician or leader say they wanted to win, they say something like we might have to kill them forever.its not the same thing, is it. you have to listen to the words.

  • @datzfast win? who says you won yet? You lost in Vietnam. You haven't won in Iraq yet. You are still getting killed and attacked. Just wait for the Spring offensive of the Taliban

  • @AccordGTR so what, cowards win so what in war eveything is legitmate.

  • @PornStarJacqui Because the mexicans don't have them, even though some of the parts are made in Mexico

  • Serious question - why aren't these employed against the cartels of Mexico?

  • love the helicopter shadow at the end there.
