Looks like someone fell asleep recording something and didn't press "stop" when it was over. Back when they told what day it was. And check out Jim Little. I saw him do weather reports as late as this year, I don't know if he's still around, though
@DerrickLee2006 If you watch the 1980 coverage of the Mount St. Helens eruption on KGW's site, you'll see that they were using this same desk before the chroma-key background. The set was dark beige with a small rear-projection screen between the anchors which would also be used with a colored slide for chroma-keying video.

Thanks for posting this news open. The news set reminds me of WATE's news set from 1983.
I do believe it was one of those Newsmat sets just like what WLWT and KITV used.
