@AncientOfitness I guess you judge me before you know me. :) That's really mature of you.. calling the tea kettle black, huh? The doctor I talked to is one of the top doctors in my area.
But, I don't really care if I rubbed you the wrong way, I'm just waiting for you to screw up your body. Although, I am totally for crossfit programs and the paleo diet.
It's been a pleasure debating with you. You just didn't need to take everything so seriously... Chill out.

a truly great example of how a solid workout can be achieved at home ... well done !!
Jumping squats are bad for your knees. I learned that after dislocating my knee. My doctor told me I shouldn't have been doing that. Normal Squats are so much better.

@TheBahaiGirl I do not agree with your doctor. If you dislocated your knee doing jumping squats, your technique and overall fitness level did not meet the minimum requirements to perform the exercise properly. Your genetic makeup may also play a factor. It is possible that you have a wekness in your equilibrium, nervous system, tendons, ligaments, bones, and/or muscle tissue. Jumping squats are required for all explosive athletes and have been performed without injury for decades.

@AncientOfitness Wait until you're older and your knee gives out. You know how if you're over weight, that weight affects your knee? Well, when you jump like that, you are putting down your weight+ gravities pull. Therefore you are putting about the same amount of weight on your knees as someone who is over weight.
Good luck. When your knee gets screwed up, then you'll see. :)

@TheBahaiGirl Your bitter tone and snarky comment suggest your level of maturity and overall knowledge on the subject are at a lower tier than my own. A base level of overall strength, fitness, and nervous system conditioning are required before you can perform explosive exercises. Those who do not have the patience to build this foundation are prone to injury and will never reach the pinnacle of athleticism. I recommend seeking out a form of higher learning before parroting false information.
