Devtaji Jisher Karahan

A historical temple made by Parshuram during Treta Yug. At the time of its foundation four dieties were estavlished, but two of them went to other villages. The present dieties situated in the temple are Jisher who is the Rudra Swaroop of Lord Shivji and the other is the Shaant Swaroop of him. The Diety holds the real Rajgaddi of Bussehar. After every 30 years Bhunda MahaYagya is held in this temple. This was also started by Parshuram. Every year Terushu mela is held on 20 and 21 April.
It is near the Hatu and Kotkaali temples. Apart from being such a significant historical place most of the people are unaware of this place. So next time you come to Narkanda make sure to visit this magnificient place.
