Here is a short vid of me doing heel toe, yes i know it's not as good as heel up, but im not as talented as many Death metal drummers. It was done on a TD9 with the trigger settings cranked as i cant get a lot of power at these tempo's. Cheers to Dreammotive , thelinearpractiseday's and Drum Rival for all the help and e-mails!

  • triggerd ?

  • @THEJ0KERGV Hello, yes It was with the TD-9

  • Great!!! Super fast! Compliments!

    S.

  • @arconda666 Thanks for the comment

  • @huuurgh I agree with you, it's not all about speed. The reason for me personally wanting to learn to reach these speeds, is to use it in a creative way for example in songs which i'm currently writing. I didn't make this video to try and say fuck you i'm fastest to people, cause im clearly not the fastest. If you look around on youtube you can find plenty of other 300 bpm videos. I'm just pleased/ surprised no one has slagged me off for using heel-toe yet?

  • heel-toe is pretty creative if you ask me. i don't understand the "heel up singles purist" mindset. there's nothing wrong with new techniques... lack of innovation leads to artistic death.

  • whats with all the hate? this is what all these dudes are doing these days

  • You must have practiced for a very long time and you play well(assuming it's real) but this isn't drumming for me.

  • sorry but for me it is not playing drums

  • wtf?

  • @Umadbrah Using an amp is only to make the sound louder, and actually makes the playing kinda harder since you have to be a lot more careful about string noise and palm muting, doesnt make anything easier when on the other hand, using triggers for the bass drum in this case allows him to reach ridiculous speed without the need to actually ''hit'' the bass drum normally or with a force that would produce a sound. Hes only touching the pads...

  • There is no reason anyone should talk shit about or dislike this video. Its 18 seconds of exactly what the title implies. Bravo good sir, bravo

  • @arcanumi That's like saying using a guitar amp is cheating and that guitarists should have to play with no amp, you're an idiot.

  • @THEJ0KERGV No shit, it's an electric kit.

  • @nigelic it's cheating if u keep beater in this way...(idiot mode) :D

If he gonna put beater far fuckin away back...that would be fuckin drumming

  • and thats why heel toe with triggers is cheating like maaad!!!!!!!
