Here you can see the measuring of doppler shift on a spectrogram of the hydrogen atom's spinn/flipp transistion from higher energy state to a lower energy state in a hydrogen cloud moving away from our Solar system in the Milkyway galaxy. The shift was about 200kHz downward in frequency. The signal is received with a small horn antenna and homemade LNA and converter. The receiver is a Kenwood TS-2000X and logging program is Radio Skypipe by Jim Sky.
