c4d makes anything look beautiful so easily.. It is definitely the future of 3d applications. after using this i hate to go back to maya and max.

I tought da same way before I started C4D. I searched for 'real tuts' but did not find, so I started learning by myself, then I watched some C4D vids, then I found C4DCAFE, so you got a lot of tutorials when you register. Also, I checked some videotuts @ Youtube, metacafe, dailymotion or Vimeo (there's a lot there), and My level is much better than 1 year ago ;]
