Execllent tutorial. Clearly spoken and very descriptive. No part was hard to understand and you gave a very good overview of the programmes possibilities. . Thank you for taking the time to explain your knowledge of hexagon and showing how capable it can be of making your ideas virtually real. I was inspired. Many thanks.

I watched this whole series of vids, and they're very intriguing.
How many years have you been doing this?
Personally, I find 3D modeling and animation very intimidating. I'm very interested in it, but I don't know where to begin and I'm consistently broke.

Hello.
3D modeling can be intimidating, more so as software packages evolve with new techologies. What is nice to know, is that once you have learnt the basic tools, your find you can carry this knowledge over to other such packages.
Iv be doing 3D for about 6 years now.
Iv got some upconning video training for sale, starting with basics of 3D in general to break down the process, and discover what goes into a project. Other training will follow, step by step videos.
Thanks.

This software is called Hexagon made by Daz3d. Its simple, fast, and effective, while offering advanced features to cattor for more technical modeling.

not a bad design (though I don't care for the design of the rocket exhaust), I did notice something odd in the final render of the tail. The surface is mirror shiny, perfectly reflecting the tail light which makes the image confusing, almost like there are 2 sets of tail lights.
Metal isn't so shiny/reflective, also try looking up some of the car "fleck" materials as well, and you didn't use an environment reflection, like an HDRI. Those things would have made the render more realistic.

Thanks for your crits. I should have put some kind of info on the tail ligth picture as its not a finnal render, was a render during the process of setting up the indicators. I did use a HDR, but it was mainly for light, with some reflection. Thanks again for your comments, il take a look more closly, and if anythink il not use test renders to be shown with finnal ones. I wont go back and mess with it now, time dont permit, but thanks for the crits, reminders for the future.
