@nuipret Define hit record. All three of her singles have reached the top 100 songs in the Netherlands and the UK as well. One of her singles made the top 3. When she first started posting videos on Youtube, she just wanted feedback on her voice and wanted to see how other people would react to her voice. It stirred up enough commotion to get the attention of several record producers. If her voice was "just average", then there wouldn't have been so many people listening/admiring her voice.

this girl is a very average singer. i have heard better at my local pub on the karaoke. has she really got a record deal? this is amazing! this lass's problem is that she thinks she's a lot better than she truly is. i'm gonna be truthful and tell you that your voice is too ordinary to ever make a hit record. but hey, keep your dream alive by believing in yourself! no offence honey!

I think she is unique actually, if you really listen to her voice on all her videos, it has this really soft, raspy undertone I've never heard before..really .. you just gotta listen to it.
