Your words are true nonetheless, shame that in our days, most people prefere graphics ...
its 2011, and i've played most of the MM games and I have two words to say:
Love it.
-
this music means mega man is giving up and closing his eyes.
-
i love this theme
16 and 8 bit
i remember first hearing it when i was 8 years old

@bluemew22 Zero's only more popular because he's a sword wielding ninja.
Incidentally, having grown up with Megaman and X, throughout Megaman's history, where X ended up actually worked out pretty well and gave more depth to the original storyline of X. If it was just X there, the plot would lose some depth, and X himself really feels more like a creation Dr Light would make, anyway. The only downside is not getting to PLAY as Zero till X3.

@strider975 According to MHX, X's theme is actually the Level Tune for the Hell Highway stage.
You have read my mind. XD
I say, forget the flashy graphics, give us gamers what we REALLY want, quit sacrificing gameplay for your crappy realistic 3-d h-d dumbcrap.

Yeah modern games have nothing on the old school, I have been playing MM games since 1987 (when our little buddy premiered) and I would have to say MM is my favorite game series, it may not have the highest production values or the most amazing graphics, but it has amazing fun gameplay and a kick-ass run you though the centuries story that is the best in robot sci-fi.
