  • eric satie? jazz?

but good point, i think its all about getting the sound of the instruments (and their players) directliy as possible on tape.

otherwise, it might be interesting to hear a classical recording treated with studiogimmicks ;) like maybe, king tubby meets beethoven uptown lol

  • no hay nada de tom cary y the pixies???? cuando compartieron ecenario??

  • Check here those: 2008-05-16 Eric Satie , or: Jacques Loussier Trio at Leipzig Saint Thomas T .

Those tracks give not the exact idea (the drums are not in the foreground-it's like that in englsh?) but remind me something like the recording style of Rachel's albums. for he rest check the mile. Bye.

  • could u upload some on here would be interesting to hear

  • Albini is a genius. But I discovered this jazz album: Erik Satie - Gymnopédies et Gnossiennes - Jacques Loussier Trio (Telarc 1998). If uear it u'll listen same albini's sound. He didn't invented it. He trasported classical&jazz recording skills in rock music

  • cool video, the music sounds great have to check out the LP. Also Steve Albini is a genius in my eyes he can do no wrong

  • This video tirne an excellent production

  • well done
