Point No.6, that the Bible says in Genesis, Ch. 1, Verses No.16, that...'God created two lights the greater light, the Sun to rule the day, and the lesser light the Moon, to rule the night. The actual translation, if you go to the Hebrew text, it is 'lamps'...'Lamps having lights of its own.' And that you will come to know better, if you read both the Verses -- Genesis, Ch. No.1, Verse. 16, as well as 17. Verse No.17 says...'And Almighty God placed them in the firmament, to give light to the earth... To give light to the earth.' Indicating, that Sun and the Moon has its own light - which is in contradiction with established scientific knowledge that we have.

  • Sientefic or not they dont know better than GOD the' creator of heavens and earth. If God says the moon has its own light the dont argue with god because he is the creator of everything and he is always right. You are missleading people and the one who does that is a antichrist and anti GOD!

  • @DezertRosee

I agree with you that God Almighty knows better than His creation and I thank you for your comment. However, the point is that God never said that the moon has it's own light, because today's Bible is no longer the original revelation of God.

It's well known in the scientific community that the moon does not have it's own light, but rather reflects the light, and that's what is mentioned in the Glorious Qur'an, the only valid and true word of God.

    1) You need proof for what you wrote

    2) It's completely off-topic. We are here discussing the scientific error "Light of the Moon" in today's Bible

  • Well the Muslims claim their God is the same as the Christian God. So what are you saying your God is not correct and He; your God, has errors in the bible?

  • @zilexxx again, u r not an arabic speaking person, the word "noora" is perfectly used compated to "inikas" .. this is our language. we are talking about the highest text of arabic literature here, so don't tell us which word is better than others. The word "noora" is 100% correct since it gives the appropriate exact meaning needed in the verse. u mentioned that Quran is poetry LOL Quran does not fall in any of the arabic poet categories ! .. Quran is not considered poetry.

  • @QuranNet How would something that is scientifically correct when applied to a moon would be literally incorrect lol,i mean it would feet the context quite well ,there would be no mistake ,the problem is that you think about the book as poetry not as just book with words and sentences, because it is all that Qur'an is,did you read book of Enoch also read the Sanhedrin 37a rabinic commentary that is copied from talmud to Quran and has nothing to do with divine .

  • @zilexxx if the word in'ikaas was used instead of noor, it would have been a big literature mistake ! the only perfect word to use to describe either the light of the moon, or the light of islam, or the light of guidance and righteousness, is the word NOOR. the word deyaa (associated with sun) can't be used for that purpose at all. So the Quran is 100% correct. Allah's light is described as noor because He is the One who provides and gives all of the above including the message if Islam.

  • @zilexxx inikas? LOL go to bed man !

  • @QuranNet Lol ok i really don't care because you and i know that noor is not the reflected light and arabic word for reflected light is in`ikaas ,read the book of Enoch ,and learn something about Quran,i ve got work to do tomorow ,going to sleep

  • @zilexxx most of the Quran translations I read put the description [reflected light] between brackets, so there is no problem at all.

  • @QuranNet and youll get where the ideas in quran came from ,or where the Adam as Giant came from .or where the Hell came from.

  • @QuranNet Read the Book of Enoch ,
