Would like to see how the UK government will police it given that their own gov.uk website pretty much condones the use of cookies. Years of Whitehall civil servants dunking their Rich Tea no doubt. Deceitful, FUDy videos like this just make me more pro- the law, despite all its technical inadequacies. It doesn't have to be like stopping someone in the middle of the road. It could just be like leaving a note on their windscreen. Google and FB are both liable but yes, if Your Site is going to introduce my computer to FB cookies even when I'm Not On FB, maybe you should be telling me. Embrace the transparency inherent in this law. Plus, tracker ads are intrusive and a privacy nightmare. Uch.
