Phantom 2040 playthrough SNES version: Part 1 - University & Warehouse

Here is a playthrough of my favorite SNES game of all time. Its a game that is basically just like Super Metroid but it manages to be even better. Not only is the game following a excellent formula, but the game is non-linear which means it contains plenty of endings and unique paths to experience each time you play the game!

Just like Super Metroid, the game is fairly easy and I'm trying to get the best ending. I am using a FAQ to follow the right choices but I am not using anything else which means that I'm on my on about finding the secrets and all that. I haven't played for a few years now so I was very eager to give it yet another shot.

Thanks for the LP. I just downloaded this one and it looks pretty good but I have no idea where to go and got stuck in the warehouse level (2nd part) and the only FAQ I could find was for the Genesis version which I heard was very different from SNES version.

@Jak00125 I recently tried the Genesis version and its pretty darn different indeed. By the time I reached the Ruins, I saw that I was going through a very different layout. I'll probably do a playthrough of it as well eventually.

DAMn no ones done a speed run of this yet.  I couldn't figure this out as a kid what to do next and always got stuck. Couldn't even read or understand the text

It looks so damned fun, especially since I saw the tv show it was based off of on swedish television.

Watching the Phantom use the grappling hook and somersault about really makes it look like he takes after Samus Aran.

Not to mention that every area that you visit is so big and full of secrets hidden behind destroyable walls and secret paths that the design of this game took a lot of inspiration from Super Metroid.
