I make alot of herbal capsules... Wasn't ready to buy a grinder yet... I poured the herbs in the blender turned it on and I couldn't believe it ground them into a powder so that I could encapsulate them...

I tried my blender after reading this, it came out a bit course (as opposed to a fine powder). I asked a friend and their blender produced powder. I guess mine isn't up to it. Thanks for sharing. nice tip! KtC

I notice the high end blenders grind it into a powder... I have a real heavy duty blender... the kind that lasts 30 years.... really.... it's over thirty years old and still look new... I even ground up some oats for a facial and some barley to make barley flour.....
